1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using PolicyPulse ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
PolicyPulse is operated by PolicyPulse ABN 72 694 774 457 ("we", "us", "our").
2. Description of Service
PolicyPulse is a government policy intelligence service that:
- Aggregates publicly available government announcements, media releases, and publications
- Provides AI-generated summaries and categorisation
- Delivers email bulletins to subscribers
- Offers a searchable archive of policy content
3. Subscriptions and Payment
Free Trial: New users receive a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start a trial.
Paid Subscriptions: After your trial, continued access requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Access continues until the end of your billing period.
Refunds: We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods. If you experience issues, contact us at support@policypulse.com.au.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Share your account credentials with others
- Systematically download or scrape content from the Service
- Resell or redistribute content without permission
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
5. Intellectual Property
Our Content: The Service, including its design, features, and AI-generated summaries, is owned by us. You may not copy or reproduce it without permission.
Government Content: Articles and announcements sourced from government websites remain subject to their original copyright and licensing terms (typically Commonwealth Copyright or Creative Commons).
6. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
Information Only: PolicyPulse provides information aggregation and summaries for convenience. It is not a substitute for reading original sources or professional advice.
No Warranty: The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of content.
Limitation: To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding any claim.
7. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, or for any other reason with reasonable notice.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the ACT.
